CIVIL PROCESS FEE SCHEDULE 2023

There are no mileage fees for service within the city limits of Paris. Please call our office for mileage fees in the county that are within the city limits of the towns listed above.

CALCULATING FEES

• There is a fee for each return that is filed with the court.
• There is a mileage fee for each address that we attempt.
• When attempting multiple addresses (ex: a home address or a work address) for a respondent, calculate for the address that has the highest mileage rate.
• When there are multiple respondents at the same address & same case number, only one mileage fee is assessed.
• Executions upon personal property and real estate will incur a deposit in addition to the service fees.
• Landlord/tenant executions will incur one service fee and one mileage fee regardless of the number of tenants being evicted.

PAYMENTS

• Payments can be made in the form of a signed firm/attorney check, cashier's check & money orders made payable to Monroe County Sheriff's Office. Personal or starter checks are not accepted at this time. Credit cards are acceptable when being used in person but will NOT be taken over the phone.
• Please refrain from rounding up or down service fees. Incorrect fees will result in returned documents for proper fees.
• When sending multiple documents with differing case numbers, please make sure each one has a payment attached as we are unable to process combined payments on separate cases.
• Garnishments and Executions must each have their own payment. Please do not combine payments into one check even when they are for the same case number.
